Sinommune multiplex assays
Sino Biological's SinommuneTM is a multiplex assay platform for high-throughput serological studies. The arrays are produced by printing validated recombinant antigens on nitrocellulose-coated slides. Each slide contains multiple pads, each with a single array. The arrays consist of hundreds of antigen spots arranged in a grid. The antigens are pre-printed and adsorbed onto the 3-dimensional topography of the nitrocellulose surface.
These arrays are designed to determine the antibody profile in serum samples, and monitor its changes over time under different circumstances. The arrays are uniquely suitable for epidemiology studies, as they can be used as a serologic surveillance tool to determine the prevalence of the infection during an epidemic. Figure 1 showed the result from a recent jointed study published on Biorxiv. The heat map clearly showed a distinct IgG reactivity towards SARS-CoV-2 in eight convalescent specimens from recovered COVID-19 patients.
Introducing IgG and IgM ELISA kits for seroconversion detection
The Bethyl Laboratories SARS-CoV-2 IgG and IgM ELISA kits are intended for semiquantitative detection of IgG or IgM antibodies, respectively, to SARS-CoV-2 in human serum or plasma. It is a rapid and highly sensitive assay that detects antibodies against the receptor binding domain (RBD) of the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, which is unique among coronaviruses and thus unlikely to induce cross-reactivity.
