Everything you need for a perfect gel
The MupidTM-One is an all-in-one solution: gel electrophoresis unit and power supply are integrated into a single device. It also comes with a gel casting set which includes 4 combs (13-well and 26-well) and two different gel trays: small (S) for the preparation of mini gels and large (L) for larger gels. The gel trays are made of heat-resistant plastic which allows direct pouring of the boiling agarose gel mix.

Resolve small DNA bands just as well as on a larger system
A common worry of first-time Mupid™-One users is whether an electrophoresis system with such a small footprint is indeed capable of adequately resolving DNA bands. We have compared electrophoresis of small DNA fragments on a standard electrophoresis device and the Mupid™-One. We find that there is no difference in resolving power between the two systems and that the Mupid™-One is indeed capable of resolving closely spaced DNA bands < 200 bp in size.
Watch your electrophoresis in real time
The MUPID™-One LED Illuminator (Cat. No.: MU4) allows the visualization and detection of DNA fragments during the run using safe Blue LEDs. The illuminator substitutes the Mupid lid and includes an orange filter to allow you easily check the results without wearing goggles.
