Product details
The FastGene® NanoSpec Photometer is a compact microvolume UV-Vis spectrophotometer characterised by highest user-friendliness.
It enables fast and easy quantification and analysis of nucleic acids and proteins by UV-Vis absorption spectrophotometry.
Integrating a microvolume sample measuring mode and a cuvette measuring mode, the measurement of a wide concentration range is enabled.
You can easily set over 20 measuring modes.
Best device performance | and versatile quantitative analysis (e.g., dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, lysozyme, BSA, OD600) due to full spectrum analysis (190 nm–850 nm) |
Extended use | for protein measurement and cell counting due to the cuvette mode |
Sample-saving | due to microvolume mode (1–2 µL sample volume) |
Convenient utility | due to an intuitive menu and user-specific workspace after individual login |
Clean workplace | due to glove-compatible LCD touch-screen |
Highest reliability | in results due to 20 pre-configurated measuring modes ensuring secure utilization |
Cost-saving | due to integrated control unit and extensive application options |
Flexible usability | e.g., in training laboratories, due to a small footprint of about DINA4-size (21,6 cm x 29 cm) and light weight (3.0 kg) |
Comfortable and safe data management | due to alternative saving at the device and transfer via USB flash drive |
Reduced application time | due to short measurement times (<8 sec), a series-measurement function, and no need for a lamp warming-up |
Full spectral analysis
The FastGene® NanoSpec measures the absorption spectrum UV-VIS (190 nm–850 nm) in seconds using by array type spectrophotometer technology with Xenon lamp and CMOS sensor (2048 pixels).
Measurement modes and configuration
The designated factor of each of the 20 pre-configurated measurement modes is set as the default value, so that no adjustment is needed.
- Nucleic acids: dsDNA | ssDNA | RNA | miRNA | Customize*
- Protein UV: BSA | SA | IgB | IgE Human | Lysozyme | OD1 | Mol. Ect. Coeff. | Ext. Coeff.
- Protein assay: Bradford | Biuret Assay | BCA Assay | Lowry Assay
- More: Kintetics | OD600 | Photometric | Spectrum | ABS Ratio | Concentration | Quantification
*The input mode (‘Customize’) is provided to allow the users to set a factor value which is different from the default to enable maximal flexibility and specificity.
