TraKine cell staining kits

A full portfolio for staining of cells and organelles, including tubulin, mitochondria, lysosomes, nuclei and plasma membranes.

Abbkine TraKine Pro is a series of super-resolution cell staining kits for labeling subcellular structures of live and fixed cells. Unique TraKine Pro dyes, combined with super-resolution microscopes (such as SIM, STED, TIRF, STORM and PALM), enable observing cell dynamics and three-dimensional structures in living cells.

CCK-8 cell counting kit

The CCK-8 cell counting kit is a colorimetric assay kit for cell number counting, cell prolifiration and cytotoxicity assays. By adding CCK-8 directly to the cell media, CCK-8 kit allows fast, high-throughput screening without a solubilization process, and enables the researcher to obtain reproducible and accurate results.

The CCK-8 kit uses the WST-8 reagent as a substrate. The highly water-soluble tetrazolium salt WST-8 is cleaved into soluble formazan by cellular dehydrogenases. This bioreduction is accomplished by NADPH or NADH produced by dehydrogenase enzymes in metabolically active cells. The amount of formazan dye product directly correlates with the number of metabolically active cells in the culture.

  • Ready-to-use reagent
  • 3 assay steps, 15 minutes
  • No organic solvents or isotopes required
  • No harvesting, washing or solubilization steps needed
  • More sensitive than MTT, XTT, MTS or WST-1
  • Low toxicity, the same cells can be used for other downstream assays

IPKine secondary antibodies for Western blotting after immunoprecipitation

Detection of proteins in the 25 to 50 kD range on Western blots after Immunoprecipitation is often challenging, due to interfering bands from antibody heavy or light chains. Abbkine’s IPKine antibodies are designed to circumvent these problems and yield no antibody background on Western blots.

IPKine heavy chain secondary antibodies react with the Fc portion of mouse or rabbit IgG heavy chains and doesn’t react with the Fab portion of IgG. Their cross-reactivity with bovine, horse and human serum proteins has been minimized by pre-absorption.

IPKine light chain antibodies react with kappa light chains on mouse/rabbit IgG. They don't react with the heavy chain of IgG. Their cross-reactivity with human, rat, goat, sheep, bovine serum proteins has been minimized by pre-absorption.
